As Manager of the K-12 Collaborative Networking Group at IBM Research, I worked with teams on projects including NetVista [K12.net] (an IBM product enabling K-12 schools to inexpensively and safely access the Internet), the Authentic Assessment Tool (IBM software supporting rich, portfolio-based student evaluations) and, in collaboration with the Educational Testing Service (ETS), the NBOSS Online Scoring System for the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards (which has grown to become a nationally deployed environment supporting the credentialing of master teachers).
